Grounded by an Ceppo di Gre inspired tile, this Ensuite is a captivating and blissful retreat I'd love to spend time in. I'd make this toilet to be for number 1s only and the main bathroom for number 2's. I'd have long showers, thinking about my life choices whilst appreciating the space. Who am I kidding, if this was my ensuite, all the kids will be joining me and there will be absolutely no peace. It's a nice thought to be showering with your partner in peace and it would be a dream when you are childless. Nonetheless, I wouldn't be complaining if I had to share with the fam as there is enough space for everyone. 

Wait, Ceppo de what? Its a prestigious Italian stone. It makes a grand feature by continuing up the back wall of the shower. With the use of dark grey grout in the white subway tiles, similar to the grey found in the stone tile it balances the contrast. 

Tiles used: Affogato Dark Grey 600x600 on the floor and up the back wall of the shower and White Gloss 100x300 Subway on the walls in the shower and above the vanity. 

One of our top 5 projects for 2020 that we were apart of was this beautiful ensuite built by Narley Construction. Our customer had a clear vision for her ensuite. Her brief for tiles was to have crisp white on white with texture, soft tones of pink and clean lines. With a bit of toing and froing of samples (left on the doorstep) to get the right white tile with not too much variation in colour, we got there. In my opinion, I think we nailed it completely.                                               

I bet this space has changed your mind about having pink in a bathroom. It is a reminder and inspiration to us to just put what you want in your home! We can get so caught up in what we think we should have or pleasing everyone else for resale etc. but in reality you are the one that has to live and use it on a daily basis, why have something that's not your taste? 

Tiles featured: White wall Piastrella in vertical stack in the shower, Pink Piastrella in vertical stack on the vanity and shower wall and 600x600 moon salt on the Floor.
