Layered Design (The Paint Pot Ltd) is a locally owned and operated Tiles, Paint + decorating store in Levin, New Zealand
All prices on Layered Design (The Paint Pot Ltd) online store are given in New Zealand Dollars ($) and are shown inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 15% but exclusive of delivery costs.
We accept payment via credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express) via our secure payment gateway Shopify or direct bank deposits (For New Zealand customers only).
Your account will be charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
The name that will appear on your statement will be Layered design (The Paint Pot Ltd)
Layered design (The Paint Pot Ltd) is also a physical store, therefore it may arise that at the time you are making your online purchase, the same item is being sold in our store. We endeavor to ensure that we update our stocks regularly, however we can not guarantee that it wont happen. If this does occur, we apologise in advance and we will refund you the full amount and advise alternatives where we can.
For most of our wallpapers, number of rolls are limited and we are unable to access anymore of the wallpapers over and above the quantity listed in stock. Please keep this in mind when purchasing the wallpaper. We recommend that you purchase 1-2 more rolls of wallpaper from your estimated amount needed to allow for pattern match especially around doors and windows, variations in wall height, and extra wastage.
As we have limited stock of each wallpaper, we cannot provide wallpaper samples for wallpaper that we have in store. Please email us if you would like a sample on any of our wallpapers that don't have quantities visible as these are indent. If you live locally you are welcome to view the wallpaper in our store.
Returns & Exchanges
Should your order arrive faulty or damaged, please contact us via e-mail email@example.com within three days of receiving your item, including a photo if the fault is visible (it may be necessary for the item to be returned for assessment - if this is the case we will arrange and pay for a courier to collect the item from a place that is convenient for you). If a replacement is available it will be sent out to you at no charge.
Store credits available.
There will be no returns or exchange on SALE or end-of-line items.
If the item (or items) are being exchanged it must be in perfect, unused condition and have all packaging & Boxes. We do NOT accept returns on any tiles or wallpaper that has been ordered in. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check measurements with their tiler/installer before placing an order. We do accept returns on full, unopened boxes of tiles for in- stock items only. However, we can only accept tiles in resaleable condition with a 25% restocking fee within 30 days of purchase. In- stock wallpaper at Layered Design, special orders, indent orders, end of line and sale items are NOT refundable.
We (Layered Design, The paint pot Ltd) have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Please note that when you purchase our products that you will not be able to claim any compensation for such variation or change in colour.
Our calculations for tile quantities are estimates only as onsite conditions may vary. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the quantities required with their installer or have an onsite measure prior to installation.
We recommend you include an additional 15% of your area to be tiled for cutting and wastage. Should you require more tiles later, we will endeavour to supply the same batch. However, this is not always possible, so it is recommended you order enough to tile your project.
Shade and size variations between the sample and the delivered product (and between one batch of to another) are normal due to the natural raw materials and manufacturing process. As such, they add to the character of the product and are not considered to be a defect.
We recommend ordering additional tiles to allow for wastage and repairs should any damage happen in the future.
Please check tiles batching PRIOR to installation as no claims will be considered after installation.
Nominal sizes are indicated, actual sizes can and will vary between batches/suppliers. If mixing tiles, compatibility should be confirmed prior to purchase.
Whilst we may assist with and advise you in the selection of goods, it is your responsibility to ensure the goods are suitable for the purpose you are using them for and that they comply with relevant regulations and specific requirements.
For delivery of tiles, if the goods arrive damaged, mark the freight delivery docket as “Damaged” and any other details so that a claim can be made with the transport company. If there is no visual damage that you can see please sign TBI (to be inspected). You must notify us within 48hours from delivery for claims. We will ask for photos to help with the claiming process.
If you are returning an item
- Before returning any item, email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) or ring us on (06) 3688099 (During shop trading hours) to receive your Authorised Returns Number. No goods will be accepted back without a Authorised Returns Number.
- All returns must be received by us within 7 days of receiving your Authorised Returns Number.
- Returns shipping costs are the responsibility of purchaser. In the case of faulty goods, shipping costs will be refunded.
Your privacy is important to us, so we guarantee that your personal information will not be shared with any third parties. Layered Design (The Paint Pot Ltd) protects all information provided by our customers. We do not store any personal information and all our data is confidential and used strictly for internal use and order inquires. If you send us an e-mail we will store your e-mail address and the contents of the e-mail. This information will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it.
- Following receipt of your order it will be processed on our next working day. Please note that some products may need to be ordered in so please allow an extra 3 working days if there is no stock showing in the quantity.
